Dendrobium Formosum 4n...was mericlone species. One of facebook friend said; almost of poliploid orchids has certain ages.Normally 4N plant is not easy to take care, it will just 'go' when it reach a certain height.
(6 or 7 ago many of us acquired this plant, but now i found out that most of the plants were gone, including mine. May be we took too much care, we fed too much fertilizer...Mr.Neoh said)
I have 3 formosum 4n plants...one were gone...the others still flowering, now almost 8 years...
